Terms & Conditions for Workshops

1. Booking & Payment

• A deposit (specified at the time of booking) is required to secure your place.

• The remaining balance is due 180 days before the workshop start date, unless otherwise stated.

2. Participant Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel your place, the following refund policy applies:

• More than 180 days before the workshop: Full refund of all payments made.

• 120–180 days before the workshop: Refund of all payments minus a £400 administrative charge.

• 30–120 days before the workshop: 50% refund of the total workshop fee (excluding deposit).

• Less than 30 days before the workshop: No refund available.

Transfers:

• You may transfer your booking to another participant (subject to organiser approval) at no additional cost, provided the replacement meets all workshop requirements.

• Alternatively, at the organiser’s discretion, payments may be transferred as credit towards a future workshop.

3. Organiser Cancellations

• In the unlikely event that the organiser must cancel the workshop (e.g. minimum participant numbers not met, illness, force majeure), participants will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.

• The organiser will not be responsible for participant expenses outside the workshop fee, including but not limited to flights, accommodation, visas, insurance, or equipment rental.

4. Travel & Insurance

• Participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

• Trip cancellation and curtailment

• Medical emergencies

• Adventure activities (including off-road travel, hiking, etc. if applicable)

• Photography equipment loss or damage

• Proof of insurance may be requested before the workshop begins

5. Health, Fitness & Conduct

• By booking, participants confirm they are in sufficient physical health and fitness to take part in the workshop activities.

• Any medical conditions that could affect participation must be disclosed at the time of booking.

• Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others, local communities, and the environment. The organiser reserves the right to remove disruptive participants without refund.

6. Liability & Responsibility

• Participation is at your own risk. The organiser accepts no responsibility for:

• Personal injury, illness, accident, death, or loss/damage to personal property during the workshop

• Delays or cancellations caused by weather, natural disasters, strikes, political events, pandemics, or any circumstances beyond reasonable control

• Participants agree to follow all safety instructions given by the organiser or local guides.

7. Force Majeure

• The organiser shall not be held liable for any failure to deliver services caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, strikes, epidemics/pandemics, or government restrictions.

• In such cases, refunds or credits may be offered at the organiser’s discretion.

8. Image Use

• The organiser may capture photographs or video during the workshop for promotional purposes. By attending, participants grant permission for their likeness to be used, unless they request otherwise in writing.
